The opportunity We currently have a contract opportunity for a Parking Officer to join our team for a maximum term of up until April 2026. As our Parking Officer, you’ll be committed to supporting our residents and businesses by investigating complaints, educating and regulating instances of illegal parking and abandoned articles. In addition, you will be responsible for the education and enforcement of illegal parking in and around School Zones in the Port Stephens LGA. To provide subject matter expertise on Councils Smart Parking System Provide a high level professional service and advice to Council, internal and stakeholders, customers and the community with respect to parking matters Provide parking enforcement and community education (specifically school zones, disability parking and other related parking enforcement campaigns This is a temporary opportunity – working full-time working 38 hours / week up until April 2026. You will work Thursday to Monday each week.
